Scaling Access to Climate-Resilient Housing and Urban Services in Informal Settlements

November 5, 2024 | World Urban Forum 12

This event, hosted by the REHOUSE partnership, explored how action at multiple levels can help scale access to climate-resilient housing and urban services for communities living in informal and precarious settlements in cities, in line with the SDGs. It highlighted successful innovations in policy and practice and the need for a more targeted approach to climate financing so that it reaches communities that are the most vulnerable in cities. This event brought together stakeholders that are advancing climate goals and sustainable development through the lens of housing integrated with basic services, at the global, national and local levels.
